Back in the Gym and the game

So I am back at it in full swing.  I am back from my six week long family tour...learned a lot about me and family and things...but that is another blog all together. But I am back on the wagon again. I weighed in at 269.2....when including the weight gain, I lost the weight I wanted to lose on vacation. Started a 30 day challenge today and I feel great. With the weight loss thing I broke 270...HELL FUCKING YEAH!!!! Now I have decided that since I did this once before and let the weight creep back on I REFUSE to do it again. I am gonna take it off and keep it off. I have a pair of Knee High Boots on the line.

I also thought about a few things while I was gone about this dieting thing.  We all have a thing about ourselves we want to change. Some of us don't like our weight so we diet, some don't like our hair so we dye or cut it, the list goes on and on. But do we really have to? Now yes I know there are a lot of benefits of the weight loss, but are you dieting for all the right reasons or because says you HAVE to? I know me personally one of the reasons I never focused on the diet is because everyone said I had to. This time I know that I am doing this for me and all the right reasons. See as women we have so many people and voices in our heads saying you should look just so or whatever. Why can't we just be us...so I have so extra poundage...I don't sit around all day eating but that is still the conception that the public has. We should be sticking together not just as wives, sisters, or friends...but as women as a whole. I am losing weight this time around because not only am I doing this for myself, I have a group of people who are all in the same battle as me...battle buddies so to speak for all my Military Wives out there and you know who you are. A big thank you to an Anonymous one who has done amazing with her own battle.

So to wrap this thing up so I can put my munchkin to bed. I say we stick together and make the changes for ourselves with support from each other instead of battling against each other and putting people down. Take this battle one day at a time and just because you lose a few here and there does not mean you will ultimately lose the war, you just need to keep your battle buddies close and phone or facebook a friend when needed. Until next time....

 Happy Dieting!!
