So a summer series....

is what I think I am gonna do. I have hit a lot of topics over the last few years that everyone has been kind enough to read along and now that I have a nifty new computer that won't crash on me or blink out every five minutes it is time to get to writing. It is kinda a two part thing...part one is gonna be a small blurb on women that inspire or lift others up. In this day and age we spend a lot of time tearing women down because of whatever twisted reason we have in our head. Women are gonna talk...I am guilty of it. But I have a few people in mind and it will take a blog a day all summer to really honor everyone individually so I will be doing a few at a time. The second part is I am going back into the research side of things and have a few new books I am reading and pulling from. Now this year I am taking a family vacation from July 1st-mid July so I will be taking a break from this. My husband and I are putting the non argument marriage to the test and taking a road trip with our two year old.

My first part is I am gonna send a shout out to Army wives...we all do our part and we hold it down when ever we need to...but there are a few that really stand out to me...I am not really gonna name names but I am going to include website links at the bottom if you wanna check them out further. These three women have gone above and beyond the call of duty and put themselves out there to help others lose weight and get all fit and healthy and hot. I have personally not met two of these women but I am honored to call them friends. While husbands are or were  halfway across the globe they have taken on the tasks of raising children and being there for others. These selfless women have or had a goal and either have crushed it or working on crushing and have encouraged me even on days I don't wanna push play or push it a little farther. The third I know personally and she took it to another level and recently became a Zumba instructor. She will always check with me before she sets out for Zumba. Because of her I actually bought the game for the Wii U so I have no excuse as to why I can't.  Please let me reiterate that this is a journey that is not to be fully travelled alone. We all need battle buddies and someone we can call and say I really need a friend to push me today. These three women do it and do it well. Don't forget to check out the links of the bottom of the page.

And let me just say I LOVE Zumba...it is not pretty when I am doing it and please don't try and follow me because I honestly have no clue what I am doing but I keep moving and I can see the results and the Monday/Wednesday instructor here on post does an amazing job. I tried the Tuesday and Thursday...had a blast and enjoyed it...but this fat girl needs some more time and some more stamina before I can fully get the whole benefit of that Class...she is a little more difficult on these joints that normally don't like me anyway.

I have a few books I am reading and working on the research side and I have a few more women I want to lift up before the summer is over. But for now I am gonna end this one and do some of that research so I can start the next blog....

Until next time....
