Comfort Zones

Love them, hate them...they are just perfect, aren't they? But you know what they say, every time you find yourself in one...something will change. So lets look at my 2015 so far....
1. I quit dieting and started OA to figure out the weight and why I always gain it back as soon as I really start hitting some strides.
2. I played around with my meds till I found a combo that helps and not hinders.
3. I gave up reeses and dorritos and have never felt better.
4. I quite smoking and I switched to half caff coffee.
5. This entry gives me one more entry for 2015 then I had for all of 2014.

We also have four and a half months left of 2015.

 So we also remember I am no longer home all day every day, well, I have taken another step outside my comfort zone. I am going to be doing the devotional for PWOC the week of my 35th birthday. I am feeling like things are where they need to be.
As we look ahead to the fall, I am making moves and plans to get ahead of the typical fall off. Meaning, the winter blues...my dark hole that fall.

So here is what is going down...
1. I am working on setting up gym time with friends.
2. Planning on Zumba on at the LEAST Tuesday night lol.
3. Walking the track at least two miles on days that it is not rainy three days a week and afternoon just dance sessions with Ab's two days a week.
4. I am going to have 4 volunteer positions plus mom, wife, student, and blogger.

I also am working on finishing up some reorganizing stuff and by mid September I will have a schedule and at least a day time potty trained kiddo.                 
                                                                   
There have been so many changes in the house and the family so far this year. There have been moves made that I swear I would never see and things I thought couldn't be done.

Quite honestly this time last year if you had told me that I would be highly involved, out of the house more, and looking forward to workouts and getting together with people. Including going to bible study every Tuesday...and a member of the board. I would have laughed you out of my house. I would have laughed about it for weeks. Never in a million years would I have thought I would be doing what I am doing now, and enjoying it!
                                                                                                                         
 I am finally on the best med combo for my fibro, I am sleeping at night when the minion will let me...but I am getting 8 hours in. I upgraded to the flex to monitor my sleeping for that reason so I can monitor not just how long...but how restful my sleep is. It is helpful considering I am working on my oil business and I need to have personal knowledge of what can work not just what they suggest works. First hand experience always works over well the book said so.
 I am finally taking care of me and making me a priority, not just the family. Which is not a bad thing. I mean I have to take care of me, if I am going to be able to take care of them.
More water, more walking, and more energy...weird how that works huh?

So signing off this time with the fall goals...

1. Destroy 41 pounds. Losing something normally means it needs to be found and I do not want to find the pounds.

2. Work my way up to 150 ounces of water a day and no more than 3 cups of coffee. Get off the soda again.

3. Survive October with minimal set back.



So yes, we are focused on today...

Today I was successful. Right amount of calories...not to many not under, water goal met, and coffee goal met.

In two weeks I am going to post weights and measurements and will not step on scale or touch tape measure again till October 1.

Just for today...I am winning the war!
