Here is the complete breakdown from one fat kid to another. 1) It comes with 8 containers a purple for fruits, a green for veggies, a red for protein, a yellow for starches, a blue for fats or stuff, and then 2 orange for dressings and stuff. 2) There is a book that lets you know what you can eat but it is not a "menu" plan...you learn how to build your menu on your own so it is something you stick with and not back slide on. 3) The options are amazing. I learned how to make a healthy club sandwich, avocado chocolate moose, and all kinds of family favorites tweaked so they fit the menu plan. 4) The workouts are awesome and fast paced....and are only 30 minutes. If you have 30 minutes to sit on Facebook and scroll through all the shared photo's and funnies you have time for this! 5) You eat 6 meals a day spaced out every 2-3 hours and by balancing the containers based on the numbers based on your calorie needs you get a completely balanced diet with no guesswork. I had 6 green/red, 4 purple, 4 yellow, 1 blue, and 1 orange for the day. Unlimited coffee and green tea and lots of water and remember drinking ice water burns extra calories (70 calories per 8 ounce glass.). I never felt hungry but could definitely tell when it was time to eat since my metabolism has sped up due to the high impact work outs.
Now here is the even crazier part...I still have a week left in month 3 and I all ready at 16.25 inches lost for the month, lost 11 pounds, and dropped another 1.9 points on the BMI scale. My original plan was to lose 50 lbs before Abbie's birthday...new plan I want to hit 75 lbs destroyed by June 14th. If anyone is hemming and hawing over the program...DO IT!!! Best money you can spend on yourself and it is a one time investment in your self. Because I am not an official coach yet I can say that slimfast shakes work just as well in place of the shakeology but in a couple months I should be coaching and then it will be a definite shakeology for me.
