19 Days and an attitude adjustment.

Reflection on the last two weeks and five days...it has been a whirlwind! I did the meal plan and prep and then I ordered a pizza. Quite honestly, meal prepping did not work for me. Now, I will borrow a few tips and techniques. Fruit will be washed and cut and bowled. That was nice to be able to grab them. Greens and that stuff as well...but trying to cook things ahead of time and warm them up just was not something I could get with. But I did learn something about me through this...I like to plan.





 This is my week in my fitness planner...my miles tracked for the week for the current race I am working on, NSV's or non scale victories wrote down....and water tracking. It is actually relaxing to do this! 


This is my month of May....so far 11 marbles in my weight loss jar...and I am missing smiley face for step goals made for only 4 days. Guess I will be bumping it up June 1st! 8000 here I come!




Then there have been some more recent changes as in just this week. I got a summer water bottle for me and my mini this week, I am drinking a minimum of four of these a day for a total of 100 ounces of water. We also have spent every chance outside that we can....so water is needed more so than coffee. I forsee me drinking more than 100 ounces a few days!

Please bear with me for the next few weeks....I am cutting back on my coffee again. Without noticing it, I was back up to 6-7 cups a day and little to no water. So since Wednesday more of this and less of the liquid gold. Attitude is in full effect!







So how does this all relate? Exhibit A!!! This pic is from May 7th (right after a workout) this was limited water, more coffee and rarely outside. 20 days later I snapped the pic on the left...23 days of hitting 7500 steps minimum, 72 hours of increased water, sun, and had just finished a workout. Don't think water is that important...proof is in the picture!






I am so glad that this year I have not settled. I have not said I am done and stopped. I have wanted too...specifically in the past two months. It was one thing after another. I tried six ways from Sunday to find a rhythm and solution for my family that allowed me to not feel like I was taking away time I could spend with my hubby and mini when I would work out or clean. I mean I was already in and out for other stuff and let's not forget school and trying to get mini outside to play.


Then like a light bulb on Wednesday. I found our solution. I clean at night...when I can't take Abs outside. When I don't have a meeting to go to. When the hubby is in bed and Abbie is snuggled up watching movies. We are a family of three...we don't make enough dishes that I can't do them all after dinner or start them while I am making dinner. Since I started this...I am calmer. We set a family goal that we would run with this plan till Monday night and see if this way works for our family.
So that has been my 19 days and my attitude adjustment. I am seeing progress, I am seeing goals set and crushed and on to the next one! Currently working on 113.2 miles by June 14th. I started May 16th...as of 2:53 this morning I had 74.1 miles to go!











This has been my last few weeks...winding things down and laying the ground work for an amazing summer! I am gonna leave you with words from Wynonna!!
