2019...the year of No Numbers and Getting Intentional

I have started 2019 off with a bang. Since the 30th of Dec (2018) I have not missed my 11,000 step goal, I missed one shake, and I have journaled every single day. I can honestly say week 1of 52 has been a huge success! This is the last day in week 1 and while I may not be at work, I am still focused on the goals because I can make the choices I need to make it successful...so, all in all, see below!



As I go into week 2, I am still working on figuring out all the moving parts and pieces of what I want to accomplish in 2019. I caught a live from Coach Tulin this week about figuring out the intention/purpose of the year...and I have hung on that. I shared on Instagram/Facebook a few days ago a few of my intentions for the year. Those included

1) Talk less, listen more
2) Rage Less, Talk more
3) Make Smarter Choices.

Now, to make these happen, I had to also make a few goals that included

1) Journal EVERYDAY
2) Blog at minimum WEEKLY
3) Move More and Drink the Superfoods Shake

Well, these lists look amazing, but there is a piece that has to happen... I can set all the goals and intentions I want. I can write it all down in pretty handwriting in colorful pens, but if I do not put action into the intention...I am still going to be here at the beginning of 2019 even when the Calendar says it is December. 












But, Audie, there is no weight loss goal in that list??!!?? OMG, You are so right...and that my friends was done...INTENTIONALLY!!!! See this is the year, that I scrap chasing a number. This is the year that weight loss is not a purpose, an intention, or a goal...it is a by-product of putting in some hard work in other aspects of my life.


This year, I want to be truly happy, healthy, productive...and considering this is my sixth year of blogging and sharing my journey, I have six years of data that says a Number is not going to get me to those three things! So this year I am embracing my title of Queen of the Plot Twist and creating one of my own! This year I want to face the year with Perseverance, not bitterness. I want to make the hard choices and I want to put in the hard work...I am looking to be made into a diamond by the end of the year...and I have 360 opportunities left to make that happen.



I know I am a badass...I look at everything I have accomplished in the short time of working with Coach Tulin. I look at all that I have accomplished in my short 38 years of life...and I know I want more. I know I have more to accomplish, so this year, I am going to focus on doing something every day, intentionally doing something every day, that will allow me to gain health and life...not push me to lose weight.


As I wrap this up to get my day off moving and accomplish that step goal and a few projects that have had to wait due to plot twists, I leave Y'all with this thought...








In the words of my late Bonus Dad, if you do not learn one new thing a day, it is a wasted day...So I am challenging myself to learn something new every day this year. Whether I learn something new about me, or I learn something new in general...By doing this, I will make the hard choices that will lead to growth and change.
