First milestone!

So I hit my first milestone yesterday....I lost the first 25 lbs and all ready a  pound into the next. I am starting another clean eating group Monday and I had to take pictures like with the beachbody start that next week...not entirely happy with the look but I am working on it one day at a time.  Now everyone remembers last year's pictures at the beginning of my beach body hip hop abs challenge....I am posting them on here with the new ones. The new is in the pink and black old are white and blue...I may have put the lost weight back on...but I am more fit then in was in June. I have more muscle defition and toneness. Check it out below. But all in all there is progress and I am happy and can't wait to hit the next milestone...

Just pondering....

I am more motivated and determined when I am in a challenge or accountability group....just always works better for me. Well one I am in did the first weigh in today and I am the biggest one there. That is normal for me but I sat down and really thought about things and I have made a few observations.
1. While I am the biggest I will put up huge numbers for a few weeks....till my body adjusts to the new program.
2. I have alot of motivated people to help me get to where I am  trying to be.
3. No matter where you are at in your  journey someone is watching and trying to get where you are at. 
To explain number 3....I may weigh over 250 lbs but I have amazing legs with 19.5 inch thighs. I want to be where alot of people are at with weight...being under 200 lbs but some people want to be where I am at with body measurements. 

I will keep doing the challenge groups and accountability groups and keep striving towards the goal. Anyone traveling this road needs to have travel buddies that inspire and push them to the next level.

Clean eating fat girl style

So I have been working on tbe diet...well lifestyle change for about a year and a half. I get a great start and then I fall off. I want a candy bar, I want potato chips, or some thing else just as bad. So I eat it saying just one and one becomes 2 and then all of a sudden I am back where I started.  January I started over again. So far 6 weeks in I have lost 20 lbs and 20 inches. But I also have done a new thing....cleaner eating. I am eating more veggies and less junk. But I still have my chips....but they are special K cracker chips, I still have chocolate but it is a skinny cow or a serving size of fun size candy bars. I am not on a diet.this year I am changing my lifestyle.  I have made a lot of changes and I can not only see the positive effects....I can feel it!

The thing witb clean eating some people think it has to be bland, it has to be boring, you can't have this or can't have that. Here is the real deal....when deny your body what you want for so long you will eventually binge and eat more then just one. By me eating just one or one serving when I say yeah I want that I have broken my binge/starvation cycle that put me here to begin with.

In closing....if you want it...eat it...just one serving and make sure you are drinking your water with it.
